Class Blog

When we were first given the assignment of creating a blog page for a class blog, I was unsure of what to expect. Having never made or contributed to a blog before had me concerned the process may be a tad confusing and perhaps a little aggravating. Having had some experience with wikis, I wondered if the two would be similar in terms of how to add content. At first, picking a topic for the assignment was an issue as I was having trouble finding a unique and original topic, however, I ultimately decided on reviewing the code of conduct of teachers as it pertains to online interactions with students. Once I got started on my research and construction of my page, I found the process rather user-friendly and easy to work around. Additionally I found my topic to be both interesting and insightful for my future in education and how I will interact with my students. Though I did have some issues formatting fonts and alligning text, I ultimately found the process of creating a blog page to be fun and simple. Specifically, the process of adding pictures, videos, and embedding content from other sites was surprisingly easy to do. After having worked with Blogger on this assignment, I definitely could see myself using it in the future, not only for professional work, but also for personal uses.
